About me
Hi, my name is Darien Beh and I'm currently in my second year of studying game design and development at Singapore Polytechnic. I've been passionate about games since I was in kindergarten, playing games such as Putt Putt on the PC and several titles on the PS1.
After playing so much I would put my imagination to work and draw out game maps and levels. Even creating game scenarios in my head. Finally now, many years later, I can fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a game designer.
I am a very avid gamer. Having the good fortune of being blessed with a fairly well off family, I have had the chance to own several consoles ranging from the GBA, NDS, PSP, PS2, PS3, Xbox360, Wii and the 3DS. This allowed me to play games from all genres and platforms.
My favourite games are the Monster Hunter series, the Fallout series, the Legend of Zelda series and the Dark Souls series.

My life in eSports
Despite being such a huge console gamer, in the more recent years (2010 onwards) I dived into the world of PC gaming and eventually got hooked on the ever so competitive MOBA game "League of Legends". At first it was just a game I would play with friends, but the drive to be better and climb the ranks fuelled my motivation to play and after playing for a bit I found out I was actually pretty good at this game.
As time went on my competitive drive just kept increasing and I started to participate in local tournaments with several different teams. Right now I'm a highly rated player in the Singaporean League scene where I have accounts in the top 200 rankings locally. I am still actively participating in League tournaments. I know the local scene and the people in it very well and often attend esports events with them. I also represented the school twice in the annual interschool competition hosted by Garena and finished third for this year's event.
Being a competitive esports player myself, I do follow the global esports scene very closely. This is also not limited to League as I do follow the professional Counter Strike Global Offensive scene and Hearthstone scene as well as I also play the former at a decently high level.
